Welcome!

Hi! You've reached my blog. It's a photography blog most days, but sometimes it's a family blog. And sometimes it's a highly philosophical blog. Other times it serves as a news outlet. And still other times you will find it telling you about my favorite things and people and places. I am Alli Gaulin, a portrait photographer in Littleton, NH. I like to create images that make my clients think about all the goodness in their lives. I hope they look at their images and think, "I have a lovely life."

Besides being a photographer, I love to ride horses. I also read incessantly all sorts of books, anything I can get my hands on. I am a mother to three beautiful souls and wife to a great man. And I REALLY love talking politics. And pizza. And this fried ravioli dessert at Bailiwicks. And shoes.

What a Beautiful World

I have to admit I covet this family’s home in the mountains. I could really learn to love the mountains if I woke up here on a warm fall morning. Isn’t that something? That view is inspiring, awesome. It really is a life full of beauty. I know the Whelan Family feels blessed every time they fly into the White Mountain Regional Airport and take the path to their home away from home. Enjoy every minute of this beautiful world you live in, and thank you for letting me capture your beautiful family amid the splendor of a White Mountain fall!

Creating Gratitude

This is a family that each time they come and see me cause me to feel so grateful that I get to be with people and interact with them and know them, even if we spend just a little bit of time together. This family just blesses me with kindness and words of encouragement and delightful little girls who once they warm up are full of joy and silliness and a zest for their world and each other. It was especially special to photograph them this weekend because they added a new little person to their family. I am very much looking forward to getting to know all three of these precious girls and their Mom and Dad though out the coming years.

You may remember their first session, click here for a dainty little tea party.

Strength and Sunshine, Nicole Class of 2012

It’s rare that you meet girls this age that are sure of what they want to do with their lives, and know just how to get there. Even more rare is a girl of this confidence who also does all this with a sunny smile. Your strength and determination were evident in just the short time we spent together- you are an inspiring young woman, Nicole! Thank you for choosing me, it is an honor!

Changing the World

I want you to make note of this name: Lindsey Glines. Because she is going to change the world someday and you will want to remember her “when.” She does not yet know how she will change it, but she will leave her mark and I guarantee you she will do it with passion, love, and kindness- AND- she will look beautiful doing it. Thank you SO much for chosen me Lindsey. I am honored!

These are a few of my favorite things….

Meet Nicole, Class of 2012. Photographing dancers is one of my most favorite things to do. I love their grace and strength and their athleticism. Nicole is incredibly poised and very elegant, she moves through life as if she is dancing. Her whole being is fluid and full of grace. It was a privilege to photograph her. (And for those of us who grew up in the 80′s, don’t you think she looks like Lori Singer from Footloose?)
